Preparing students for future success and university pathways.

Oakleaf School’s Georgian Language Programme is fully aligned with the National Curriculum approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.

The school delivers all subjects required by the National Curriculum and further enriches students’ learning through additional mandatory and elective courses that extend beyond the national framework.

While ensuring a solid foundation of theoretical knowledge, Oakleaf School places equal emphasis on the development of essential skills and values. The programme fosters critical and creative thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and research skills. Students are also guided to manage their time and environment effectively, plan for their futures, and cultivate a strong sense of responsibility, ethics, and civic engagement.

Through this balanced approach, Oakleaf School prepares students to become knowledgeable, capable, and socially responsible individuals, ready to thrive as both professionals and active citizens.

The Learning Process

At Oakleaf School, the learning process is grounded in the following key approaches:

Student-Centered Approach

Each student is unique in their abilities, emotions, interests, personal experiences, academic needs, and learning style. We take these individual differences into account to ensure that teaching is responsive, inclusive, and tailored to each learner’s development.

Positive Learning Environment

We believe that positive relationships and supportive interactions are essential for effective learning. Every student should feel recognized, respected, and actively involved in their own learning journey, sharing responsibility for progress and personal growth together with their teachers.

Equality

Equality plays a crucial role in creating a positive atmosphere and motivating students to become active and responsible citizens. To achieve this, we use diverse teaching methods, strategies, and activities that address individual needs and promote equal opportunities for all learners.

In-Depth Study of Issues

Students are encouraged to explore new topics and concepts in depth and from multiple perspectives. This approach helps them develop critical thinking, recognize interconnections, and identify shared ideas and broader implications.

Motivating Students

Recognizing the importance and challenge of student motivation, the school strives to help learners understand the purpose and real-life relevance of each task and assignment. This fosters engagement, curiosity, and a lasting interest in learning.

Equal Involvement

Every student is expected and encouraged to take an active role in the learning process. Collaboration and peer learning are integral parts of classroom life, allowing students to support one another and learn together as a community.
