Education Philosophy at Oakleaf School

The education philosophy of the school is based on some of the most important values:

Freedom of Choice

At Oakleaf School, we believe that every student has unique potential and limitless capabilities—with the right guidance, they can achieve remarkable success. In Georgia, only a small number of students traditionally have the opportunity to pursue higher education abroad. Our mission is to change that. We aim to provide each student with an education that empowers them to choose the path that best suits their aspirations—whether that be a university in Georgia or abroad. Upon graduation, students are well-prepared to continue their studies either in Georgia or in the United Kingdom.

Highest Quality

The second goal is to ensure the highest quality in the education delivery process. This involves not only implementing a robust quality assurance system but also achieving measurable outcomes. Oakleaf School will evaluate its success based on students’ academic performance as well as their achievements beyond the classroom—in real-life contexts and future careers.

Developing Student Values

Research shows that empathy and curiosity are key drivers of student success. At Oakleaf School, we support students in planning and carrying out projects that connect learning to real life. Through direct communication with people outside their immediate circles, exploring real-world challenges, and contributing to meaningful solutions, students gain a valuable perspective—and make small but impactful contributions to society.

Understanding Our Place in the Modern World

In addition to engaging with real-world challenges, students need to understand their place in the world as Georgian citizens. To plan their future thoughtfully, they need a clear view of Georgia’s development in relation to other countries, where people enjoy higher or lower living standards, what role Georgia plays globally, and which professions are most in demand. Oakleaf School plans to implement international summer and exchange programmes. Through these experiences, interested students will have the opportunity to visit foreign countries, explore diverse perspectives, observe different ways of life, and reflect on how people around the world plan their futures.
